(On the other hand,) the positive results of a society populated mostly by people who are serious about cultivating wisdom and spiritual understanding should be clear. If the citizens are peaceful, satisfied, respectful of others, compassionate, selfless, and so on, then society will be progressive both materially and spiritually.

At the top of the drive, Michael reached down and shut off the ignition, letting his bike coast quietly down to the old picnic table. He parked his bike at the same place under the oak tree where he had rested the day before.
Michael slipped the knapsack off his back and dropped his keys in his front pocket. As he started toward the house, the screen door swung open and the boy from the garden with whom he had spoken yesterday leaned out and called to him, “Come on in, Michael! I’ll tell TEACHER you are here”.
The floorboards on the old porch creaked as Michael strode across it, and so did the screen door when he swung it open. By the time he got inside, the boy had disappeared, and since there was a door leading out of the room in every direction, Michael could not tell which way he'd gone. The room looked the same as it had several months earlier when Michael had first come, along with his friends, to see
TEACHER. It was actually two fairly large rooms joined into one. The wall between them had been taken out at some stage to accommodate more people.
On the walls were posters like those Michael had seen for sale in Imported Goods from India, a store near the campus. He walked over to the poster nearest him. It was of a male figure with a bluish complexion, who was wearing a golden crown bedecked with a peacock feather. His hands held a beautiful flute which was poised against his lips, and there appeared to be an almost mischievous grin on his face and a similar twinkle in his eye. At the bottom of the poster were the words “Murli-Manohar”.
Michael heard footsteps of someone approaching and turned in time to see
TEACHER walk in, followed by the boy who had gone to tell him of Michael's arrival.
TEACHER smiled warmly at Michael and greeted him, after which they both went out to the veranda, accompanied by the boy from the garden.
